Lacking Motivation

I've realized that perhaps taking Saturday to relax is not the greatest idea. It makes doing work on Sunday very difficult. Oh, and I must mention that it is gorgeous outside!! I have a pile of marking and also lesson plans to prepare for the rest of the week. I think my lack of motivation has something to do with how big the work load is. I am not sure how I am going to get through it. I must sit somewhere I cannot be distracted and get through it!

Speaking of lacking motivation. The Sens did not seem to have any desire to win yesterday! They had a great start and then just completely blew it at the end. It felt as though they weren't really trying anymore. Leclaire has been great the last few games. I can't say the same thing for the rest of the players. I'm quite disappointed. Not sure who I am going to cheer for now.

The Best Book

I read a lot of books. I will sometimes finish 2-3 books over the weekend. I love everything from mystery to chick-lit to non-fiction. Right now I am reading such a great book! I have been so busy with lesson planning and marking it's been so nice to curl up for a few minutes each night and read. This is such a great feel good funny happy book. LOVE it! And it is definitely in my pile of books to re-read.

“Yowza!” exclaims Kara Richardson when she sees the handsome proprietor of the new delicatessen in town, Gabe Paolino—who soon expresses mutual interest. This would be the start of a perfect love story, except for one thing—Kara has vowed to stop dating until she feels God’s leading.
But when humorous circumstances send Kara and Gabe on a road trip to Florida, hope springs anew. Even with Kara’s flirtatious coworker Tiffany—“a hyena in heels”—along for the ride, the uncouple begins a lively journey that could change their paths forever.
This memorable, charming story of love’s persistence captures the honor of waiting on God’s timing, and the adventure of finding the perfect guy to not date.

New Blog

I have tried out so many different blog sites and this ones seems to be more intuitive than others. Hopefully I will stick to this one.

I just finished my second last week of practicum. I cannot believe that it's almost over!! It seems like only yesterday I was starting. It really hit me yesterday. I was away all day for a basketball tournament and when I got back a bunch of my kids said to me "We were told that next week is your last week. Please don't leave us!!" I definitely almost teared up. It is going to be so unbelievably hard to leave them! I have enjoyed every second!
