House sitting = watching favourite girly movies

I have been house sitting for the past couple of weeks. I filled up a bag with my favourite movies and brought them with me to pass the time. Yesterday and today I had one of my girl friends over and we watched some of my all all-time favourite girly movies. Sometimes it's wonderful to watch a happy sappy movie (or many) especially ones that make you cry at the end. I really need to make more time for myself for some movie watching. I have so many great movies that I have not seen in years and these past couple of days have reminded how much I enjoy movie watching.

A new guilty pleasure

I must admit that I am very addicted to GeekBeat's blog (http://geekbeat.tv) and their YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/geekbeattv). They post blog articles and videos about new gadgets. Being a bit of a tech geek, I am loving this very much.

It looks like Chord Overstreet (Sam from Glee) might not be back for season 3. He is the only cast member who has not signed the contract for the whole season. He was one of my favourite new additions to last season and I'm really hoping that he will be back.

Those of you who know me know that I love stars. After a search for the perfect star pendant (which I found last year) I decided to look for a nice star ring this year. I came across this stainless steel star ring on amazon.com (my new favourite place to shop).

Ring finger nail polish trend

I've recently noticed a new nail polish trend. A girl helping me out at a clothing store a few weeks ago had all her fingernails painted one colour except for her ring finger. I didn't think much of it. I actually thought that she may have been sampling a new nail polish colour and had forgotten to fix her nails up. But I have started to notice this trend more often in the past few weeks. Cute or tacky? I have yet to decide.
